The 2025 Mountain Maryland Plein Air Competition and Exhibition, June 9-15th, 2025, at Cumberland's Allegany Museum through the partnership of the Allegany Arts Council and the Mountain Maryland Plein Air Committee. Other events at Arcadian Gallery and the Gilchrist Gallery.

Monday, June 9
Artists arrive and begin painting across Allegany and Garrett counties

Wednesday, June 11
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM - Wet Paint Wall Reception at the Arcadian Gallery, 47 Baltimore Street, Cumberland (free to the public)

Friday, June 13
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Collectors' Reception & Awards at the Allegany Museum, 3 Pershing Street, Cumberland
(Tickets may be purchased through Allegany Arts Council)

Saturday, June 14
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM - Quick Draw Registration
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Quick Draw in Downtown Cumberland (All Quick Draw Events are free to the public)
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Public Exhibition at the Allegany Museum, 3 Pershing Street, Cumberland (free to the public)
12:00 PM - 12:30 PM - Artists Set up paintings
12:30 PM - Jurying of Works
12:45 PM - 1:30 PM - Quick Draw Awards Presentation at Allegany Museum, 3 Pershing Street
